Rocket Matter just released its “Spock” e-mail integration feature, which permitting users to associate e-mail folders with matters then see a list of relevant messages upon opening that matter. They can then search both the e-mail messages and the attachments to those messages.

Rocket Matter uses the IMAP protocol to fetch messages, so that pertinent messages self-populate matters without the need for users to send the messages to a “bcc” box.

In addition, multiple users can associate e-mail folders with a matter so that no matter who sends or receives e-mail relevant to a matter, all such e-mails will end up aggregated in the Rocket Matter interface. This also makes e-mail attachments including .doc, .jpeg, .zip etc. accessible and downloadable everywhere.

Rocket Matter emphasizes the flexibility and power of its search feature, which can find a phrase in the body or header of a message.

And billing is integrated into the e-mail experience using either a timer or autotiming feature.
